Interesting Goings-On
Indonesia has decided that dirty, filthy Zionist money and food isn't welcome in their beautiful Muslim paradise. With estimates of up to 94,000 people killed, no infrastructure to support an internal aid package and the civil war back underway, Indonesia should put such petty things like who's God has the stronger Kung Fu on the back burner.
Not so for Thailand and Sri Lanka. They are more than happy to receive any aid they can get. But they don't have the whole Muslim "we-hate-everyone-who-don't-pray-like-us" attitude.
Abbas was elected in a landslide in Palestine. I guess we'll see what happens now. Israel claims that this is a radical Muslim they can work with. At least the Israeli government is dismantling the settlements...or is making noises about doing so. Is it possible that this conflict could actually be resolved in our lifetimes?
Don't hold your breath. Hamas won't have anything to do. When all you know is hatred, all you teach your children is anger and resentment, it's not likely. Hard to believe Northern Ireland could calm down, but it did. I don't hold the same hope for the Middle East.
